Tire Amnesty Day: April 13, 2024

The Levy County Solid Waste & Recycling Department will be having a Waste Tire Amnesty Day on April 13, 2024 from 8am to 5pm.   All Levy County Residents are encouraged to dispose of old tires that may be in their yard because tires can collect water and become a breeding ground for mosquitos.

The tires that are collected on Amnesty Day will be transported to a recycling facility where they will be recycled into products such as molded rubber goods, flooring, rubberized asphalt, athletic surfaces, and landscape mulch.

Amnesty Day Rules:

  • Levy County Residents may dispose of one load of up to 25 vehicle tires for FREE.
  • Only vehicle tires will be accepted.
  • Proof of Levy County Residency is required.
  • NO Business or Commercial loads will be allowed.
  • Tire Amnesty Day is April 13, 2024 ONLY.

Tires may be brought to the Solid Waste Transfer & Recycling Center, 12051 NE 69th Lane, Williston, Florida, 32696 between 8am and 5pm.

For additional information about Amnesty Day, please call 352.486.3300.
